Commissions Analyst – Amplix

Job Summary

The Commissions Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of the administration for multiple commission revenue streams and commission expense across various business units. This includes, but is not limited to, 1) preparing and communicating monthly statements for external commission payments, 2) analyzing, auditing, and reconciling incoming commission statements and any receivables as related to commissions, 3) researching and determining if internal sales opportunities are ready to be paid, and 4) managing disputes and inquiries as related to all compensation through to resolution.

The Commissions Analyst interfaces and collaborates with all levels of Amplix internal organizations including sales, operations, finance, and human resources as well as external sales agents, and third-party partners and suppliers. The Commissions Analyst is also regularly consulted for providing feedback on administration processes, systems, and best practices for compensation plans and other companywide initiatives.

Qualifications

  1. College degree strongly desired
  2. Must be operational and process driven with the ability to think critically to develop new processes or streamline current processes
  3. Ability to work independently
  4. Organized and able to manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks within defined timelines
  1. Must be data driven and detail oriented to focus on, and be comfortable with, analyzing data for accuracy across multiple sources of information.
  2. Be able to handle multiple projects at one time
  3. Be willing to assist teammates with data or other information needed for them to meet their daily, weekly, or monthly tasks within a specified timeline
  4. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to include the ability and comfort to manage and manipulate data sets, import and export data to and from systems, run pivot tables, and perform more advanced formulas
  5. Be professional and have strong interpersonal skills to help with communication, interaction, and relationship building within Amplix organizations and external or third-party organizations such as suppliers, technology partners and subagents
  6. Comfortable reviewing contract terms as they relate to incoming and outgoing commissions.
  1. Enjoy and be willing to participate and provide feedback in group initiatives to improve upon companywide processes and strategies
  2. Strong ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems.

Experience

Two+ years of experience in one or more of the following are helpful:

  1. Experience working in a sales environment
  1. Experience in Telecommunication/Cloud Technology commission calculations, analytics and reporting or other related experience with commissions and compensation
  2. Experience with basic accounting or bookkeeping
  3. Experience with systems relating to commissions calculations and reporting, or CRM tools.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
