Summary

The Sales Operations Analyst is an integral part of the Sales Operations and Sales teams. The role is focused primarily on research, reporting, and analysis of sales data. This role requires great discipline in providing consistent results, data monitoring, and ongoing support for the sales team. The role also requires great attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Specific Responsibilities & Expectations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Data

  • Ensure data integrity and hygiene by regularly auditing and cleansing sales and customer data within CRM and other systems.
  • Develop and maintain cadenced and ad hoc sales reports, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill data requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the delivery of needed information.
  • Monitor and analyze key sales metrics, identifying trends and discrepancies to drive continuous improvement in sales performance.
  • Support data governance initiatives, helping to establish and enforce best practices for data management across the organization.

Processes

  • Manage and maintain sales templates, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
  • Create and configure hardware and software quotes in collaboration with various vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Process hardware and software orders efficiently, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Submit bookings and related documentation with Technology Service Distributors (TSDs), ensuring all relevant details are captured and processed correctly.
  • Streamline and optimize sales operations processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improved efficiency.

  • Participate in company meetings, sales meetings, and other company events
  • Conflicts and other challenges are to be promptly communicated to your supervisor then HR if not resolved within a reasonable time frame (chain of command)
  • Participate in all company training courses provided and successfully complete all necessary online and self-paced training courses in the defined timelines required

Education and/or Experience

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience: Advanced Excel skills preferred. Previous CRM experience preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills

Has mid-level computer job skills including logging on to systems, Excel proficiency, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
